Both my brothers present radio shows on the student radio station here in Galway and I was wondering if I could call on my fellow whatthefolkers! to have a wee listen.
They were telling me that most of the texts they say they get are actually made up and they don't have the listener-ship they really deserve.
I was hoping that if even 5 people were to send a free text from the link below to them, it would give them a bit of a boost...maybe :?

As a bit of an incentive, my younger brother, Craig, he's on right now, will be playing a mix of tunes starting at about 7.15 local time (about half an hour away) that will include a remix of Sugarlumps, at my request of course :)

Here's the link anyway http://www.flirtfm.ie/

I'll give it a listen :) They're lucky to have a sister like you

Any texts I would write would be sort of made up still though. What would I write?

I love listening to radio online cause you get to hear stuff you don't hear at home. I was listening a lot to Irish radio over Xmas because they had some great Xmas songs on:)

Oh biscuit you rock! :supz:

Well at the moment they're looking for people to text in saying what your worst job ever was.

He should be playing the mix any minute now.

Nothing's like waking up with sugarlumps stuck in yer head :roll2: Ouch!

I liked that they kept some of the lines in at the end too. And your brother was sweet to thank you, wasn't he :D

I know I wasn't expecting that :D He's a sweetie, sometimes!

I hope he reads out your text. Did you say where you're listening from?

Oh no, i definitely want it to be a mystery as to where all these new listeners are coming from!

He's just finished speaking now vmh. Very good of you to listen in anyway :thumb: :D

My older brothers show is on tomorrow evening so I'll bump this up when it's on :D

For anyone who wants to hear the sugarlumps remix here's the link
http://soundcloud.com/thera/sugarlumps

There's a load of FotC remixes on that website by the way.

I think I just missed him because when I tuned in, I heard a woman's voice. Drats! I'll try to listen in next time.
