So we're hearing about a 4.5 aftershock in Christchurch, NZ today. Hoping everyone is well.

They're a tough lot down there. Some minor damage to buildings weakened in the big one last year but otherwise apparently all OK. People are pretty jumpy though, not surprisingly!

I can understand the jumpiness. When my former husband was taping his show in LA, they had a large earthquake, but it was the aftershocks that drove him crazy. We'd be on the phone talking and all of a sudden he'd go, "oh @#$%$#@#, another aftershock!" Then he'd complain because his apartment was above the parking lot, and all the car alarms would go off simultaneously. :doh:
