How about meeting up earlier in the day? Maybe we could all stash our ukes somewhere during the gig? I don't know where I'll be staying yet though....

10 guitars and Poi E are on. I don't know about other tunes. Would love to play Tonight You Belong To Me with you as well.

I still haven't had a go at figuring out a PF song on the uke but it would be awesome if we could play Buffalo or something :)

Yeah meeting up earlier in the day is fine with me, just as long as you all are going to be around earlier in the day as well and stashing our ukes somewhere would work too.

Ooh, I haven't played Tonight You Belong To Me yet but it is a really cute song! Which chords do you follow? Could you post them please? :)

My flights gets into Luton at around 11am so I'll be around during the day no worries. I like 10 Guitars but I'm finding the strum a bit difficult. Poi E is something I'd definitely want to do with ye, and if we could do Buffalo together, well I think my weekend would be made!

I'm really torn between both versions of "Tonight, you be long to me". The boogaloo one is easier to but the one that you follow biscuit sounds so much better.

I'm going to start looking for accommodation in the area. Would there be any hostels you could recommend Venus?

How do you strum 10 guitars? Is that the one we were going to play using the Maori strum? Cause I'm not really sure how that goes... :worry:

Exactly what I thought. I can play the Boogaloo version but biscuit's sounds better.

I tried that strum but I think it's a bit too advanced for me. This guy sounds like he's doing a DUXU, but I don't "see" him doing the chunk.

Sorry, kipples I don't know much about hostels in London apart from student accomodation which is only available during the holidays but I can help you out if you want to know whether a particular area is good, has good transport links etc. :)

I can play the better sounding version of Tonight You Belong To Me now :D Still have to have a go at 10 Guitars properly.

Venus, any recommendations would be great. I've tried looking around on google maps but it all seems to be either booked up or student accomm. that charges by the week.
Anyone else looked at accommodation? Biscuit, do you know if you're definitely going yet?

I still don't know, Kipples :roll: I was so sure it'd work out fine but it's getting close now and I still haven't heard back from the employment office about possible benefits. Without them I'm deffo stuck :(

I was counting on private accommodation anyway though so I haven't been looking.

Yay for playing the better TYBTM btw :rock: I HAVE to come to London! I'll swim if I have to!
