Aww... he was such a little cutiepie! :D
I'm pretty sure we have seen that pic before, but it would've been ages ago and goodness only know's where it's buried on this site - so don't worry about it being old news - it's always nice to be reminded again! And there's always the newbies like yourself that haven't seen it...
Thanks vested! :thumb:

Yep...and I think there may have been some photoshop-shenanigans with that pic!

Good to see it again, vested! :)

Heh, it was me posted that online in the first place  Certainly gets around.

It was sent to me many years ago by a good friend of Bret's but I only posted it once or twice on the forum in shrunk down size in more recent years.

Bret sang in Oliver with The Wellingon Operatic Society?!?!?! :o  :thud: That is just perfect, and I'm sure that's him. Judging from that poster, it also looks like he played Oliver. If so, I'm sure he had the audience in tears during, "Where is love?" with those angelic, expressive, brown eyes. :tears:

Thanks, Venus and Dai Henwood! :thumb: Sweet tweet. 8)

I always laugh when "Oliver" is referred to as 'family entertainment'. I mean have you SEEN it?!?! Dark....so dark. Thieves, whores, starving orphans...secret pregnancy, child slavery, domestic abuse, child abuse and even dog abuse!?!?! But it's jolly good fun. Great music, fantastic songs and dance numbers...but that song, "As long as he needs me." is just too much. :hrmpf:

I've never seen it....and looking at that poster, I thought that looked like a young Julie Andrews, lol!

What makes me go :o is where it says "Sung in Italian with English subtitles." Really??!! I must hear it!

 at the Julie Andrews ressemblance.
and I think the "sung in italian" bit belongs to another poster :hrm:
But if you did I'd hold you tight / Into every single night
And we'd fall asleep together / And we'd wake up in the sunlight
Well, maybe I'm a dreamer / But maybe one day you'll see / That dreams are...

I was shocked too when I first saw it and thought it said "sung in Italian" but then I looked again and realised that it's on a different poster. ;)

"young Julie Andrews"... :roll2:

Aww, I wish we could see a clip of him in action. Not too long ago I read about Bret starring in a Tip Top Trumpet ad (here). Not sure how old he was exactly but given that Rachel Hunter was 15 when she starred in one, I assume Bret was young too.

Lol, ok....I thought someone had zoomed in on the Bret bit and the rest was part of its poster. I see now....(tho that would've been pretty cool- young, high-pitched Bret singing in Italian!) :o

:o Holy crap! That is totally Bret. He looks so wistful. I've never seen Oliver but I read Oliver Twist and that was pretty bleak. Especially since there were no song and dance numbers to lighten things up, lol.
