I've been a little out of the loop lately, but I finally got around to listening to the Hamish & Andy podcast with Bret. Hilarious. I can't believe I waited so long listen to it.

I miss you (and your avatar) when you're not around, Faith. The podcast was so delightful. So I guess Bret sort of already did the triangle thing with Hamish and Andy!

I've missed y'all too. Lots of stuff going on at home with moving and all. Haven't had much time to catch up so I've been lurking mostly.

Did you ever eat a hot meat pie when you were in NZ, Faith? I'm sure Great H has had a few. Amanda, did you try one? Anyone else? What kind of "meat" is in it anyway?

Did you have one in NZ? I am not a friend of mysterious meats so I had a chicken one in NYC & it was good. It had veggies in there and some sauce so it was pretty much a chicken pot pie.

Meat pies are good. I don't know why we don't have them here.

Forgive my ignorance, but are these in any way similar to the pies in London that are spoken of in the BBC recordings? I did not have a hot meat pie when I was in New Zealand, nor did I stop by (or even see) a pie shop in London. I love chicken pot pies though I never eat them due to my addiction to pie crust and my desire to fit into my skinny jeans. Aren't the NZ meat pies eaten with your hands though? The pot pies I'm thinking of would not work that way.

I love that there exists a pic of Bret with a meat pie (prior to TLB), and now if we can find a photo of him with a ginger cat I will be most amused.


We should start a franchise...or go to New Zealand and open a string of taco stands. (do they really not have tacos there???)




Now allow me to swoon and reminisce for a moment. Chicago....2009... ...what a night.


I'm afraid I'm becoming quite desbret*** for a photo of the man with his new haircut. I'm sure he's well sick of cameras at this point tho. *sigh* I shall try to be patient. *sigh*

They have tacos. They sell tortillas and stuff at the supermarket. I saw a couple of Mexican food restaurants while I was there too, but I knew it would be bad so I didn't go to one.

I want new pics to pop up as well. Maybe when we get closer to The Muppets release date we'll see more pictures, although I hope that will happen well before then.
