What are you listening to?

Everything else you can poke a stick at. And then some.

Eddie Vedder's Ukulele Songs...I got it at Tarjay today for $8. :) Loving it.

The only one I'm having a problem with is Dream a Little Dream because his voice seems ridiculously deep.

My faves on Glamazon is "I believe" and of course "Superstar". Everytime I hear "Superstar", I have visions of "Lip Sync for your Life...and Don't F*** it Up." :D

Yeah, I was really excited when they were going in a modern-classical/experimental direction and paying homage to Fluxus and the Beats in the 90s, and then they just settled on dull pop songs. The one disc Pitchfork gave a zero, New York Ghosts and Flowers, I loved. The following one, Murray Street, they gave a 10, but it put me to sleep.

Glamazon isn't as instantly catchy as Champion, but it's holding up great. And yeah, Superstar is so perky!

My Morning Jacket's "Circuital". Really digging it. I am in love with "Wonderful (The Way I Feel)" which was originally penned for The Muppets, before some corporate exec drama ensued and then dot dot dot, Bret was hired.

LauraK: I've been told that Bret mentioned somewhere that 'Dream a Little Dream' was one of his favorite songs to play on ukulele. I keep meaning to have a look at the chords/tabs. I just love Eddie's voice, but it is extra low and gravely in that song.

I'm really enjoying Todd Snider right now, he's got this song called Precious Little Miracles that I find hilarious.

Album is called Agnostic Hymns and Stoner Fables.
