So today we went to Duke of Uke! Whilst the the person in charge of the shop of the time asked rachel and I to keep an eye on the shop for a little while, we decided to take a few pics. ;)

I bought some new strings for my uke and rachel and I had an interesting time trying to re-string it lol. Duke of Uke is a really cute shop. I really hope they find another place to relocate soon.

Wow! :o Duke of Ukes is uke heaven. Cute name, cute shop. Too bad they have to move.

 @ the Star Wars cartoon. Poor Uke, as I recall he hurled himself down the pit and broke a string in the process. Don't worry, though - they restrung him. ;)

Yes, I was uke heaven! I know, the guy at the shop knew that rachel and I are very trustworthy. :halo:

Hahaha, love the cartoon!

For all of you who followed my daughter's friend's web series, Gigi, Ultimate Guitar has put Kevin's (her boyfriend's) song Almost America up with chords. The same chords work for uke:

Squeee, found the coolest app for ipad. You can play ukulele and it is really way cool! It's listed as Ukulele Free and Songs Hawaiian Guide, by NETTuno. Check it out, you will be so addicted. :yay: :cheer: :whitey:
