I have a problem keeping the "hoors" straight. Is the pregnant chick the same one that was living with Nucky at the beginning of the series, or is it someone else?

And what about that creepy FBI guy? Eeeeew.

I'm also glad my favorite, Jack Huston (nephew of Angelica and Danny Huston), who I've been drooling over on the Bit Famous, Bit Fit thread, is starting to get the attention he deserves:

Yep, the pregnant gal (Lucy) is the one who is living w/Nucky in the beginning, before he meets Margaret.

I get a HUGE kick out of the FBI agent (Van Alden). I can't quite explain why, but there's is something about his Frankenstein-like demeanor that cracks me up. I'm not sure if it is intended, but I just think of him as brilliant satire.

Richard Harrow is just plain fascinating. The poor guy is obviously quite emotionally capable (and of course fragile), and has no bones about committing some really horrific acts of violence just to find some acceptance. Jack Huston has done an incredible job with the role.

Oh, and he's pretty.

I get a kick out of Van Alden too. Michael Shannon has done a lot of film work, he always brings a bizarre element.

Did you guys know that the dude who plays Arnold Rothstein is the same actor from A Serious Man? I had no idea!

Kelly MacDonald has done some freakin amazing work on this show. The same goes for Jack Huston. I can't get into the Gretchen Mol character but this last episode showed us something might be a brewin' with her and I look forward to it.

I'm waiting for her to try to make out with her son, Jimmy.
At first when I saw the credits, I couldn't figure out who she was in the first few episodes - well, it took awhile for them to really introduce her. I'm thinking they're doing the same thing with Domenic Chianese - wasn't he Tony's Uncle on the Sopranos? If so, I haven't seen him yet. Or maybe I have, and I missed him or don't recognize him.

Michael Shannon is unbelievable. And what a sick *#@% he is! The flaggelation looking at Margaret's photo, the baptismal murder, etc. When is he gonna get found out, now that the 2 nosy agents are kind of out of it?

PS The metal mask that covers his injuries is removable, so when the goblins yell, "Trick Or Treat!" tonight, Lordy, the little kids are gonna freak!

Waiting for the bloody first season to come out on dvd. Must get my friends who have a mega-cable package with On Demand to leave town so I can cat sit and catch up with Nucky.
