The lead actor was really weak.

The rest of the cast was working hard with bad material and doing alright.

Rhys and Mary Jane Rasjkub were great. Their scenes really stood out, and I realized when i was watching their tiny little bits that they were the ones I would have liked to see a show about.

I just saw a preview, but didn't see the show. Maybe "The Suits" (showbiz term for execs) wikk see what you did, MM, and Rhys and Mary Jane will get their own project.

That's such a shame for Rhys although I did see it coming judging by the previews I saw and the negative reviews about the show in general. At least Rhys has stood out from the show with many saying that he did a good job with what he was given so perhaps another great opportunity will be coming his way.

He's so close - he keeps getting pilots in the UK, and I don't doubt he'll get another shot here as well. FOTC didn't have huge numbers - but many TV insiders just love it.

Yep, Rhys has starred in UK pilots. To be honest, I didn't think much of the latest pilot, "Fun Police" but again, Rhys did well with what he was given. Hopefullly he's getting closer to a breakthrough.

I'd love to see him back at Caroline's, while he's waiting for that breakout role. :cheer:

One article suggested that he would be a great addition to the cast of Parks and Rec...

Haven't seen much of the show, but I might have to agree with that.

He would be great. They have such a great compilation of characters, from Rob Lowe to Aziz Ansari, each pretty well drawn-out, thanks to good writing.

Rhys has new gigs scheduled in Nashville, Chicago, Portland, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Phoenix. I might be down for Phoenix if anyone is interested.

I would be down for SF too. I was thinking about Phoenix because I think ItsAllRyche would be up for it if she's not busy plus it's also near my birthday/Spring Break.

I am in St. Louis that entire week. I probably could be back in time for Saturday's show and definitely will be able to go to the Sunday show!

Saw Sierra today, she is down for the shows for sure!!

Whatever you all decide let me know.

I am off to LA next week to see Sarah McGuinness at Roxy on Wednesday the 30th. Then off to Atlanta until December 20. Yeah, I am really busy right now.
