It's too bad the author of this bit didn't use too many actual quotes from Jemaine, but it does sound as if she interviewed him. (however clumsily she put it to paper)

really tugs at my heart - I wonder if he knew at the time that his teacher's public reproach was the true mistake? In any case perhaps with his mention of it here he will indeed 'inspire educators'.

sort of implies that poor "Little Jemaine" wasn't entirely innocent.
