Men in Black III - SPOILERS!

AKA as HipHopapotamus, half of the Humourbeasts, Action Fighter, Dr Chevalier and Jarrod in Eagle vs Shark! Nuff said. You can write the rest!

I see the endearing fist-of-nervousnes....

He really looked spectacular. :) I think that suit's fabric is much like the paint on my old van- it changes color based on how much light is on it...it went from blue to purple.

Loved the interview and reading a bit about his positive reviews. He does indeed do 'mock pomposity' well. :)

Not muscular by Hollywood standards but very much so by Cuba St standards, lol! 8)

I went to watch MIB3 earlier on and Jemaine did a great job as usual! I enjoyed the film as a whole too. I wasn't expecting the end to be quite as emotional but I thought it was a really good twist. :D

Yup. There are so many holes in that story though it's ridunkulous. I guess you just have to suspend your logical disbelief & you'll be okay.

Haha, yes we did leave the cinema with quite a few questions but they just about managed to still get away with it all. ;)

You'd think with all the script re-writes the holes would have been patched up. Ah well, it's not a film to use your brain for, it's mainly about being dazzled by action & special effects.

Weren't they even writing the script during filming that it got to the point that they were being told their lines on set? If so, then I guess that even though they had the chance to patch up those holes, the last minute nature of the script didn't give them the chance to think about it all in great depth especially if there were so many changes. But yep, the special effects, set designs, alien costumes etc. were impressive.

Hoping to go see it tomorrow on cheapo Wednesday. Seniors (those of us over 60, AGGGHHHH! ) get in for $5.50 all day.
They just said on Extra that the shutdown in the middle of production was to "tweak the script", or as you've said, to write the script. :|
It looks like a hit - our cranky reviewer gave it 4 out of 5 stars, which is a rave from him. And they knocked The Avengers out of the number one spot for box office grosses. :yay:

This all looks FAB!

Nancy I'm jealous - it's ridiculously expensive to go to the movies here - $16.50 for an adult I think. And that's before you pay $5 for a small coke to take in, etc. That said, I hardly ever pay full price because I get free tickets as part of a rewards point system on my credit card. And I use my credit card a LOT  ...so I get a lot of free tickets! Plus I have a friend that wins a lot of double passes so I get in on those too! *phew!* But I think I'm gonna have to actually spend some cash on this one - there's a long weekend coming up this weekend so I'll go then. Looks like a fun movie, can't wait! :D

And SW... take a closer look at that 42Below vodka next time you're spirit shopping - it comes in four flavours (passionfruit, honey, kiwifruit & feijoa) - yummy!

Thanks H. I love passionfruit & kiwifruit but it looks like I'll have to try the feijoa since I've never heard of such a thing. :)

I'm looking forward to possibly seeing the movie tonight. It should be great fun! Just saw the second round of photos and still think Jemaine looks fabulous.

SW, regarding the tight pants around the calves, I think it is mainly a socks issue - it could either be that the pants are sans lining and sticking to his non-silk socks....or it could be that the pants are lined, but his socks are wool or cotton and still sticking.

LauraK, I'm intrigued by the "fist-of-nervousness". I'm still relatively new to FoTC, but I've not noticed it before. Has he mentioned it? Or is it something that you have noticed yourself?

I guess he should have gone with silk socks then just in case but it's probably not a problem he was expecting to have in the first place.

Re: fist of nervousness, I remember it first at Fantastic Fest, see about 1/4 down the page. I'm sure there are a many more photos of it but I can't recall off the top of my head. (That's kind of more a thumb tuck of nervousness I guess)

I think I noticed it before that...possibly at our meet-n-greet 4/09. Or maybe in pics before that. I find it endearing because it reminded me of my son.

Thanks SW and LauraK! :yawinkle:
From the interview posted here: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=3564&p=165521#p165521 it would seem that Jemaine had a couple of weeks to work out the sock issue. Either way, the suit is amazing :supz: oh...and did I already mention that he looks delish? :tonqe:

Maybe he hadn't sat down in the suit. Probably when standing the socks don't stick. I think I found the suit on the Ben Sherman site. It looks forgettable in grey. The color is really what makes it but also the cut as I'm a fan of the skinnier sort of suit but it didn't look as skinny on the model as it does on J. He really rocked it out.

Do you head down under-er soon tynant?
