Code:
Dm7
Hey there, Bret
   Am7
I see you looking down
         Bb7                             C7            A7
Don’t want to see my little buddy there with a frown
Dm7                                 C7
Just because I get more women than you
          Bb7                               C7              A7
That’s only because they don’t know you like I do.
Dm7                              C7
Sure, you’re weedy and kinda shy
               Bb7                                      C7               A7
But some girlie out there must be needy for a weedy shy guy.
Dm7                                  C7
They want you as a needle when they’re rolling in the hay.
  Bb7                          C7
Just hear me out when I say

Dm7                 A7      F7  G7
Bret, you got it goin’ on.
       Gm7                            Am7
The ladies get to know your sexuality
          C7                             Dm7
When they get to know your personality.
          Dm7                A7     F7  G7
I said, Bret, you got it goin’ on.
Gm7
Not in a gay way
Am7
Just in a hey, mate,
C7                               Dm7
I want to say that you’re looking okay, mate.

Dm7                               C7                             Bb7
Why can’t a heterosexual guy tell a heterosexual guy
                           C7       A7
That he thinks his booty is fly?
Dm7                  C7
Not all the time, obviously
       Bb7                                          C7     A7
Just when he’s got a problem with his self esteem
             Dm7                                  C7
Don’t let anybody tell you you’re not humpable
                       Bb7
Because you’re bumpable
          C7                      A7                       Dm7
Well, I hope this doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable
      C7
If I say you’ve got a boom o wow
Bb7
Come on, Bret
C7
Help me out now
D#m7             A#7  F#7 G#7
Bret you got it goin’ on.

I got it goin’ on.
G#m7                    A#m7
That’s the conclusion that I’ve come to
     C#7                         D#m7
But that doesn’t mean that I want to bum you.
D#m7                 A#7  F#7 G#7
Bret, you’ve got it goin’ on

Got it goin’ on
G#m7
No doubt about it
A#m7
We’d be getting crazy
   C#7                                 D#m7
If one of us was lucky enough to be born a lady.
Em7    B7                  G7  A7
Oh, if one of us was a lady
                       Am7                 Bm7
And I was your man, if I was your man
            D7                  Em7
Well, sometimes it gets lonely
         Em7    B7
And I need a woman
                  G7                             A7
And then I imagine you with some bosoms
    Em7        B7                         G7
In fact, one time when we were touring
                      A7
And I was really lonely
                 Am7              Bm7                   D7
And we were sharing that twin room in the hotel
          Em7                                  B7
I put a wig on you when you were sleeping
G7
Put a wig on you
A7
Ooh ooh ooh

And I just laid there and spooned you
                                 Em7
Bret, you’ve got it goin’ on

The chords don't exactly line up to the right word every time cause the HMTL code messes it up, but you get the idea.

I disagree... the way I played it (and I think Jermaine plays it the same way) is (all bar chords)

Bret you've got it goin on
Am1 A7 F7 G Am2
The ladies get to know your sexuality
same thing

Am1: fret 5 (i dont know the real name of the chord, but it's like a Bm)

1 -----5---
2 -----5---
3 -----7---
4 -----7---
5 -----6---
6 -----5---

A7:

1 -----5---
2 -----7---
3 -----5---
4 -----6---
5 -----5---
6 -----5---

F7: Same as A7 but on 1st fret instead of 5th

1 -----1---
2 -----3---
3 -----1---
4 -----2---
5 -----1---
6 -----1---

G: bar

1 -----3---
2 -----5---
3 -----5---
4 -----4---
5 -----3---
6 -----3---

Am: the real Am bar

1 -----5---
2 -----7---
3 -----7---
4 -----5---
5 -----5---
6 -----5---

I realize this is a short tab but i'm pretty sure its right. Reply if you have questions (or if you know what that first chord is called)

ps the chords are not lined up with the lyrics. Am1 plays until "going", F7 is played on "on", and the rest are between the two lines

Yours sounds okay, but I studied how he holds his hands on the chords. I'm positive thats how it is played. All the chords in my tab are meant to be barre chords as well. That first chord on your tab is a Dm barre chord btw, but Jemaine definitely plays that one as well as the rest of them as 7ths, it's what gives it that smooth feel. It doesn't make much of a difference if you play without the 7ths but thats how he plays it in the vid.

Also if is wondering how to form some of those chords.

Dm7:

E -5
A -5
D -7
G -5
B -6
e -5

C7:

E -3
A -5
D -3
G -5
B -3
e -3

Bb7

E -1
A -1
D -3
G -1
B -3
e -1

A7

E -5
A -7
D -5
G -6
B -5
e -5

F7

E -1
A -3
D -1
G -2
B -1
e -1

G7

E -3
A -5
D -3
G -4
B -3
e -3

Gm7

E -3
A -5
D -3
G -3
B -3
e -3

Am7

E -5
A -7
D -5
G -5
B -5
e -5

And then the rest of the song is just modulating up a half step and then another half step so just shift the chords up accordingly. I'm a little iffy on that first Am7, I know for the rest of the song he plays a C7 there but on that first one it looks like either a Am7 or A7.
