Whoah! Bret's hair grew long really quickly! :D

He looks adorable in both videos. I love seeing him rock out with reckless abandon! :supz:

I thought the same thing. He looks nearly as scruffy as he did at the beginning of the tour. The clean cut schoolboy look didn't last for long.

I like his reckless abandon too but the crowd didn't catch him right? And he knocked someone over.

It wouldn't be the first time! There were some stage-diving difficulties when they played SXSW, I believe!

That's just because he's not doing the diving around the right crowd.

Now, never having had the mosh experience, I thought you dove in and everyone kind of caught you. But you say no, get out of the way, let 'em land splat? Ewwww!

In a place and environment where moshing, stage diving and crowd sufing are expected the audience would catch you but, as LSully alluded to, Bret isn't in that environment. I think he gets a little overzealous and just goes for it without thinking.

From my experience I was usually the only girl moshing and even though the guys around me would catch the stage diver, if I was close to it I'd usually get a boot in the face or something like that so I learned to duck. I had a bit of aggression back then and moshing was good therapy. I could pogo around smashing into guys and they wouldn't smash me back - good times, good times!

I couldn't either but even though he looks light as a pixie when he's flying at you I think he'd topple you right over unless you had some help in catching him.
