Didn't love the inclusion of the cello songwise. Didn't notice Nigel was cute but his hair is good.

that other bearded dude, who I've learned is Nigel-the-cellist, is pretty easy on the eyes, too.

what a great day that must have been.

Methinks he is Nigel 'The Razorblade' Collins who played with them for their Folk The World album :) An old friend from their uni days.

He seems to have worked with a few of the locals on the Welly scene. Age Pryor being one :)

Yup, and I learned he's in the Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra.

More you tube goodies from the fundraising gig. Good moments on there...

Added after viewing:
Someone has to screencap the close up of Jemaine singing! Actually, the close-ups of Bret aren't bad either...
And ps- How great is the NZ crowd? Engaging but not intrusive. I really hope that you all have the same sort of crew for the shows in the States and Canada...

Wherever the girl with the red vinyl skirt is now, she probably cries herself to sleep every night because she never got the chance to dance with Jemaine. And look at his dance for her. O bb.

Venus, you totally beat me to it! Just watching them now...

How awesome is the "you can do it" guy? Funny, perfectly timed and the guys and the crowd totally worked with it. I really hope you have honest moments like that in the live shows in North America!

If they play "Hurt Feelings" on the tour, I bet each intro will be unique! :)

Hey Everyone!

I am off for a few weeks and I am sure I will have LOTS to catch up on when I get back about the tour! I am so jealous of all you who get to go and see them LIVE! Bring your cameras, camera phone, whatever you can- I can't WAIT to see the you tube vids!

Who am I kidding though... I am sure I will be sitting in some sweaty internet cafe in Bangkok writing you all and sneaking some good solid Conchord you tube time :)

Oh, crumbs and biscuits. Thank you viry much for the videos, Venus. They make want to eat biscuits.

If I ever do see our guys live, and there is a slim light of hope for that, I will bring twelve million cameraphones. Then the world will be a happier place! Ecetera, ecetera.
