"Oh femident toothpaste yeah..."

I swear, of all of the FOTC songs that could possibly be stuck in my head, I have NO IDEA why this one keeps following me around...I barely ever listen to it anyways! What is up with my brain? :?

The entire time I've been writing this 10 page paper for my final (which I just handed in! yay!) my brain has constantly been looping, "Too many dicks on the, too many dicks on the, too many dicks on the dance floor" from the concert.

I've spent the past half an hour walking around my house singing "all the ladies checkin' out my sugalumps...they drive the ladies craaaazzzyyyy" (the slow version from the concert).

I'm still desperately trying not to burn myself out on the Conchords after all that's happened - I'll skip over their songs on my playlist, I'm only listening to one part of their radio show a week, and I've even stopped randomly singing at work.

Does this make me a bad person?

I got this so much a couple of weeks ago

I'm not actually complaining about that, it's pretty damn cool :supz:

That makes you a very wise person, Bad Atom. It's too easy to burn out the excitement of something. Just look at Corrine. Has she posted at all today?! Anyway, I'm thinking of cutting back a bit too. I'll still be here everyday, for sure, but I need to lower my daily Conchordian intake. Keep it semi-fresh for when I really have a craving for it.

I only listen to it at work now :) And even sometimes I'll put it so my whole playlist plays on shuffle, not just the FOTC bits...but then I realized that I tend to skip through all the non FOTC songs anyway

I agree. I've tried to stop listening to them on my iPod as often as I used to...though it's hard to just stop easily like that. They hold too big a place in my heart to just completely stop listening to their music altogether. But I'm getting better. I've lowered the amount of times I watch an episode of the show to about once a week, and I spend much less times sitting on YouTube watching their videos than I used to. However, I'm sure when my BBC radio series and copy of Folk the World come in the mail, this may end up changing... :?

Oh, and as for the song that's stuck in my head...

"Carol Brown just took a bus out of town...but I'm hoping that you'll stick around."

I do this too :D I'll say "hey, let's try to listen to some other stuff today!" when secretly I know that I'm just going to end up skipping everything that isn't FOTC anyways...

I have the soundtrack from Eagle vs Shark coming and am looking forward to a little break from constant Conchords.... :P It probably won't last long, though.

At least the new disc isn't far off....then we can all get different earworms, lol! :D

You are going to LOVE IT! That was my Summer soundtrack 2007! I had downloaded it from itunes and burnt a cd for my car and listened no stop for MONTHS. The cd is pretty much destroyed now - skips like crazy. Luckily I got a new ipod for Christmas that year. ;)
