The last thing I bought.....

Postby ZebraWarriorPrincess » Thu May 28, 2009 7:53 pm

I feel a bit weird starting a thread here, what with being new and everything, but on the other board I post to there's a cool thread where people post a list a things they have bought recently...it's silly, but makes me laugh. Over 1500 posts now.....
Would anyone be up for doing it here?
I'll kick it off:

On Monday I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses and a bottle of wine, and I bought some soup and Heat magazine, and a mango on Tuesday

I've not bought anything else yet this week, unless train tickets to work count :x

This morning I bought a ticket for my second viewing of Star Trek and a tub of popcorn. Bought some (overpriced) gas on the way home.

I bought some petrol on my way to work this morning. (If you wanna pay through your nose for fuel, come to Norway, Laura  )

After work I bought some bread, oatmeal, chicken, potatoes, lettuce, a cucumber and half a watermelon (and an ice cream, which I scoffed down in secret before picking Ben up from nursery  )

Thanks to Ariadne at RAC for my gorgeous new avi :-)

I bought a quart of milk, some pumpernickel bread, and (as a treat to me) some Pepperidge Farm dark chocolate and Pecan cookies, at the convenience store after I dropped my son off at school this morning. I had one cookie on the ride home, went to get another one just about an hour ago, and realized the kids had found the cookies and had eaten all of them! :bang: :###:

A $0.99 chicken soft taco and a copy of Bust magazine. That's all I've purchased since Sunday. Last weekend was a whole other story!

A bottle of wine, a pack of gum and prescription heart medicine for my elderly cat. (Um, just the medicine was for the cat.)

:rolls: That made me laugh out loud. I'm glad you're not giving your cat wine and gum.

Cute!

I bought the makings for shoarma for tonight's dinner.
