Oh, what a feeling, eh, Songbird? :D

No more lectures now
Let the books collect some dust
A summer awaits

Ah yes, I think the feeling right now can be described as bliss :D

Haha, love the haiku :D

Flight of the Conchords
Stars two Kiwis - Bret and Jemaine
I really love it

Jemaine wears glasses
And lots of denim, looks cool
But he rarely pulls

Bret is the small one
Often wears animal print tops
Was not bulimic

Dave runs the pawn shop
Gives questionable advice
Wears a bandana

Murray hold meetings
Takes roll call with some vigour
Wears moss green jackets

Mel is their sole fan
Married to Doug, he's old
Follows Bret and Jemaine

Eugene's their landlord
Fixes taps badly, butts in
on Bret and Jemaine

The band goes on tour
Murray's car ends up in pool,
Jemaine ate mixed nuts

Racist fruit vendor
Causes trouble for the guys
Wakes up in smoothie!

Doug may be lonely
Mel is too busy stalking
The Kiwi hotties

Folk Parodists sing
But rarely pull the ladies
The ladies are mad!

Brets on phone with Mum
Jemaine lying on the sofa
Shouting at Bret's Mum

Jemaine's a man ho
Wearing leather and string vests
And dancing on poles.

I need to get a life....

:D

I was a bit bored....:D

Maybe it would be good for introducing people to FOTC? Who knows!

Think haikus are meant to be a collection of 17 lots of 3 lines, so still a few short.

I did start writing haikus about my work colleagues though (I didn't share...I was thinking mean thoughts) :x :x

There once was a folk parody duo
Whose looks made the girls all say "Ooh, oh!"
The attention was scary
For the boys cute and hairy
So they had to escape in a Yugo.

(I have no idea what this is about. It's hard to rhyme things with duo.)

Strong and sinewy
Resting soft on a guitar
Making sweet music

Bret loves Savannah
He buys sixty-three goldfish
Roots through her rubbish

Think yours is better!

Nearly up to 17 now:

Bret slept with Lisa,
He was really traumatised
Cried in the shower

So ya there's this guy named Jemaine
He drove all the ladies insane
Eyes of a green hue
He's ticklish too
So beautiful it causes pain

Meh, not that good but figured I should post anyways. :)

Bret’s shirts are all great, no denyin’.
There’s the zebras, the chimp, and the lion.
And the duck, and the deer
And the penguins, and “Beer?”
But those mice are just too mortifyin’.

Those sugalumps are particularly inspirational for the haikus, aren't they? Just that perfect image, waiting to be encapsulated  .
