I really appreciate the fact that the film and its characters don't need words in order to communicate. Good directing & acting!

I hadn't seen it before, and it's amazing. I think it captures and expresses an enormous amount in a seemingly simple scenario.
Extremely well done and very touching.

I just saw that for the first time thanks to a link on Twitter from @FOTCmb, thanks for posting it here. What a wonderful short film - I was transfixed, despite there being no words. It's amazing how much can be communicated without them.

I thought the simple humanity of the soldiers laughing together really highlighted the inhumanity of what's going on around them. And then there was the cat scene - very poignant. LOVED the real soldier playing in the dirt with the tiny plastic toy soldier - what a wonderful juxtaposition. Awesome.

Fantastic use of colour too. More wonderful stuff from Taika - this made me laugh, and cry. Especially since it was ANZAC day just a couple of days ago.

More please Taika!

That was amazing. Probably my favorite Taika film to date.
