Here you go, Nance

Feel free to move it if you like:)
Windows Movie MakerStep 1When you open WMM you will see this image (but if you've never used the programme before there will only be empty slots where I have photos). The yellow part of the menu is where you go to import files. If you have taped a video with your webcam, you click video, and hopefully you will get straight to your video folder. You may have to browse. When you find the you find the video you want to use just click it and press import:)
Step 2You will now see your chosen file in the WMM. Click and drag into an empty slot on the bottom of the screen. If all the slots are empty it wil automatically settle in the first one.
Step 3Make opening and end credits by clicking the highlighted bit in the menu (My WMM is in Norwegian and I have no idea what it says in English, but maybe something to do with credits or title, I would guess) Once you click it the rest will be self-explanatory. The title and end credits will miraculously appear just where they're supposed to

Step 4Now, you are done with the most important part. Time for a bit of fun

You can choose from a range of different effects to use on your video. You could make it look like it was filmed in the 19th century or go psychedelic

Click and drag the effect down into the little square in the corner of your video image.
Step 5For a smoother transition between the credits and the video, or between several videos, you can choose from a number of...I don't know what they're called in English

In Norwegian it's transitions:) The yellow bit

When I'm doing videos I usually go for the boring fade in - fade out one, but with slideshows it's fun to use all the different types

Step 6Press yellow bit to save the finished product onto your computer. (My yellow bit says 'publish' btw)
