Okay, don't see this anywhere....but I really want to know! How do you do that black bar stealthy ninja thing where there's a black bar and you click on it and suddenly stuff appears all magically and so forth? I'm seeing this used a lot for hiding spoilers and just used in conjunction with general creativity and would really like to know how to do this. Thank you!

Click on Post Reply. When you are looking at the blank white screen you usually post in, the options to hide things are just above in the left corner, below the "Font Size" and above "Tip." Then test them out with your text - you have two options for letting people know it's a spoiler. Enjoy!!!

Its called a spoiler tag and is in the options when you type a reply with the full reply. No option with Quick Reply unless you preview, then options appear.

Jusy click on the spoiler button when in post reply mode and it pops it into your text box and then you put your text or image URL and tags inside that.

Let's see if I can do this...
Monkeys!!!!

option 2:
[Reveal] Spoiler:
Monkeys!!!!

Horray!!! Thank you! That was much easier than I thought it was going to be!

Here you go, Nance  Feel free to move it if you like:)

Windows Movie Maker

Step 1
When you open WMM you will see this image (but if you've never used the programme before there will only be empty slots where I have photos). The yellow part of the menu is where you go to import files. If you have taped a video with your webcam, you click video, and hopefully you will get straight to your video folder. You may have to browse. When you find the you find the video you want to use just click it and press import:)
Image

Step 2
You will now see your chosen file in the WMM. Click and drag into an empty slot on the bottom of the screen. If all the slots are empty it wil automatically settle in the first one.
Image

Step 3
Make opening and end credits by clicking the highlighted bit in the menu (My WMM is in Norwegian and I have no idea what it says in English, but maybe something to do with credits or title, I would guess) Once you click it the rest will be self-explanatory. The title and end credits will miraculously appear just where they're supposed to
Image

Step 4
Now, you are done with the most important part. Time for a bit of fun :D You can choose from a range of different effects to use on your video. You could make it look like it was filmed in the 19th century or go psychedelic  Click and drag the effect down into the little square in the corner of your video image.
Image

Step 5
For a smoother transition between the credits and the video, or between several videos, you can choose from a number of...I don't know what they're called in English :worry: In Norwegian it's transitions:) The yellow bit  When I'm doing videos I usually go for the boring fade in - fade out one, but with slideshows it's fun to use all the different types :D
Image

Step 6
Press yellow bit to save the finished product onto your computer. (My yellow bit says 'publish' btw)

I think I missed something... What are we making? :puzzled: Is it gifs? Cause I've always wanted to make some of those.

Sorry Sully, I guess that was a little unclear: I had asked biscuit on the uke thread to give a tutorial on how to make a video and then publish it.

Good job, biscuit (better known as the member with the longest title! :supz: )

Does anyone know of a good webcam recorder available online??

I have downloaded one called AVS, but it will only let me record for 2 minutes because it's a demo :P I kind of want to record some longer songs now, without paying through my nose for the privilege.

I'm sorry to bother you kind folk, but I have read this thread and still can't post pictures (well, just the one, actually).
I have used Imageshack with no problems on another forum, but I just get a line of code when I do that here.

Anyone help me, please?
