Random things I noticed during my rewatch of Bret Gives Up the Dream:

-Murray's hair looks much better this episode.

-"I can't believe you got that job and I didn't."
"Yeah, well you need to work on your people skills."
"Shut up, Bret."

-Jemaine smiling when Murray asks if the hot dogs are any good and that he would expect three sauces for $2.

-The signs behind Jemaine at the expo were cracking me up. "The giant carrot" and "The shed that's in the shape of a sheep."

-Mel rubbing Bret's leg after telling him how skillfully he holds the signs and then when she starts talking to Jemaine, you can see her sniff his shirt.

-I never noticed that when you see Jemaine and Murray eating out together, the tape player is at the table where Bret would sit.

-I love the list Murray makes. The tape is cheaper, more consistent, not as hairy, no subway fares.

-It looks like Jemaine wants to laugh after Murray tells him "I don't know what you do in your personal life."

-Poor Jemaine. He looks so pitiful when he tells Greg to go away.

-I like how according to Bret being grown up means drinking coffee. I guess that means I'll never be a grown up.

Haha, never noticed that either!

Well spotted!

That's why I love this show. You can watch an episode a million times and still notice small things like that. :)

I was really paying attention to the posters at the expo too this time  The shed in the shape of a sheep was pretty cool :D A lot cooler than Ayers Rock

Also in that scene do you see where Jemaine takes a REALLY deep breath? That's when he had Pneumonia and had trouble breathing. And in the Inner city Life part when they are singing and they are in Dave's pawn shop you can see Jemaine off to the side taking really deep breathes.Poor Jemaine.. :(

I did see that, but I didn't know he was sick. It was probably during filming HvsR that he got sick, both of them looked like they were freezing during that song.

Yes, the first one they filmed after the pilot was Mugged ,and it was a record cold day, I read.

I still crack up about all the Bretalikes in the office.

Right.. it was then. He had Pneumonia for like 4 weeks and couldn't stop and take a break because of the tight schedule with filming then having to be in the studio. They had a 5 day hiatus and he had 2 days to stay in bed and get better before getting back into the studio and he said those 2 days were easier than filming the show! :?

That looks like some left over set from a bad sci-fi movie  The sheep opera house would be classy compared to that.
