Season 2 - Deleted scene discussion

If you guys watch the deleted scene with Mel/Bret and Doug/Jemaine in the supermarket - right after Mel says "Maybe I should be a stripper" or something to that effect, watch Bret and Jemaine. I think Bret was going for surprised/disturbed but he's smiling, and Jemaine is barely holding it together at all :roll2:

EDIT: Oh, upon looking over this thread again I see several people have already brought this up! I JUST now noticed it

Ok, so the deleted scenes were amazing!! They all had me rolling on the floor laughing, I'm dying just re-reading them in this thread!

The scene where they try to book their own gig and they don't understand Bret was brilliant. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard! Also, the scene where Bret jumps out of his sleep, karate chops the air and yells "don't chop off my penis!" had my crying I was laughing so hard. And in the scene with all of the girls in the apartment, the whole dialogue between Bret and Jem about how they can't handle all of these girls at once and how they're going to divide them between themselves was hilarious! :roll2:

And of course, in my opinion, the ultimate moment of all of the scenes:

"Don't tell me what to do tough guy!"
"I DO WHAT I WANT!!!"

I've been using that quote for the past two days straight.

I could go on all day talking about each scene, because I honestly thought they were all great. I'm going to be watching the scenes a bunch more times too, because as we all know, the more you watch Conchords scenes, the more funny little details you pick up

Oh yis, and it is marvelous kelly! It's kind of mesmerizing, I just find myself getting stuck staring at it for extended periods of time... :rolleyes:

I was just thinking about how I love when Mel is telling Doug to play the whole "which celebrity would you sleep with?" game and he doesn't want to. I always die laughing at the way Mel says, "C'mon Doug, it's fun, it's fantasy, JUST DO IT." :roll2:
